This afternoon from 2pm we had a lovely day for our annual village event, to bring everyone in the village together to socialise and also help raise some money for the church in the process. This year Linsey, Lindon and family decided they would like to help by doing a tea party at their house – it was a perfect location. And invited us and the village to join them we all brought some cakes and drank lots of tea and coffee. They were a perfect host – Thank you for such a warm and loving welcome. June made time to write up a series of questions for us to look for. The treasure hunt was a walk around the village. Once everyone had returned June marked them all and announced the winners – Congratulations to Cally’s Team and Jason’s Team – Joint winners. Thank you June for your time in setting this up. In total we raised £160 towards the church funds. I speak on behalf of everyone I’m sure to say that we are very much looking forward to next years event. Watch this space!
